What would you do if you knew you could not fail? I would do everything that I can and want in life, especially with things that align with my purpose and passion. Back in 2017, I invested in my personal and professional growth through a virtual coaching program with Sonia Ricotti called the Unsinkable Life Class. The topic on being fearless has been my favorite subject matter. I am revisiting this subject at this present moment as I learn to get out of my comfort zone and move towards a higher vibration, especially in the business world and marketing. The information that I am sharing with you is what I have learned from Sonia’s coaching. Have you ever wondered why you haven’t accomplished the things on your goals list? The answer to this is probably FEAR!
The 8 Most Common Fears
- Fear of Failure
- Fear of Success
- Fear of Looking Bad
- Fear of What Others Will Say or Think
- Fear of Losing Friends/Family
- Fear of the Unknown
- Fear of Rejection
- Fear of “Looking Stupid.”
Failure is part of feedback! When you fall down, you get up and dust off so that you can move forward. You never change things by fighting the reality. STOP resisting “what is.” Accept it, then act on it.
Take action with power and confidence! It’s about the journey and failures are part of the learning process. Here is an assignment that you can work on. Write out your “Greatest Life” list. This could be anything that you want to be like being debt-free, being your own sassy boss while making 100K a year income, travel around the world, moving to the beach and buying a beach house with a beautiful ocean view. Does this sound like my own greatest life list?! Maybe! Pick the ones that you want to work on within the year. Then plan, plan, plan! Break it down into bite size pieces. Whatever you do, please don’t let others rent space in your head. There will be times when people will tell you that your goals are silly and unrealistic. Just keep in mind that the only opinion that counts is your own opinion of yourself. Live life on your own terms.
Fear is not real and is the #1 cause of people’s failure. Fear is just thoughts in our head. Embrace change in any situation. Step out of your comfort zone. Recognize and stop the “Gremlins” from sabotaging your success. Take action with power and confidence!
“Run towards your fears. Embrace them. On the other side of your greatest fear lives your greatest life.” ~ Robin Sharma
